Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski have confirmed that their nine-year marriage is ending after the couple had already been separated privately for some time. The announcement adds a personal turn to a relationship that largely stayed out of the celebrity spotlight even as both actors maintained public careers.

They eloped in 2017 and later became parents to two children. The couple also built a quieter home life away from Hollywood, including time on a farm in upstate New York.
